Company History
Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation (Maxor) is incorporated in the State of Texas. Maxor is a private company with the majority of ownership held by Maxor employees. Maxor as an organization has been in business since 1923 and under its current ownership since 1966. Maxor is free standing, not owned by either a pharmaceutical manufacturer or a pharmacy chain.
Maxor is experienced in meeting the challenges of today’s growing health care demands. Since opening its first pharmacy in 1926, Maxor has evolved into a nationwide provider of pharmacy and health care services. Through the development of our integrated pharmacy and health care service management strategy, Maxor is redefining the role of a pharmacy benefit manager and is helping shape the future of health care.
