Description
Lakeside Pharmacy is seeking a licensed Community Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate is patient-centered, detail-oriented, and passionate about community pharmacy practice. This role offers the opportunity to participate in enhanced clinical services through CPESN WI, supporting innovative, outcomes-driven care beyond traditional dispensing.
- Accurately dispense prescription medications in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Provide patient counseling on prescription medications, OTC products, and general health concerns
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain efficient workflow
- Communicate with prescribers regarding clarifications, refills, and therapy recommendations
- Participate in clinical services and patient care programs through CPESN WI
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure pharmacy operations meet all legal, safety, and quality standards
Requirements
- PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited program
- Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing
- Immunization certified (or willing to obtain)
- MTM trained (or willing to be trained)
- WPQC certified (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Community pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply
